Udot, Kathy, LPN

Consent agreement

Jul 27, 2021

On July 27, 2021, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Kathy Udot of Valemount, B.C., to address practice issues that occurred on June 24, 2020, related to breaching patient privacy and confidentiality. The Registrant agreed to a reprimand resulting from their breach of privacy and confidentiality standards by accessing the on-line patient list at another healthcare facility for the purpose of viewing their admission status at that facility.

The Registrant was not providing care to that individual and had no clinical reason for viewing their status.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
