Consent agreement

Aug 27, 2021

On August 27, 2021 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Charing Cheuk Yan Tse of Richmond, B.C., to address practice issues that occurred in March 2021 related to her care of two postpartum mothers. The Registrant did not complete two assessments but falsely documented that she had. She also failed to document one mother's symptomology and removal of a foley catheter.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to a one-week suspension for falsification of medical records and to complete education on documentation, ethics, and professionalism.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
