Jensen, Cindy, Former LPN

Consent agreement

Sep 23, 2021

On Sept. 23, 2021, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Cindy Jensen of Lake Country, BC, to address practice issues that occurred in May 2020 related to falsified billing of hand and foot care services to residents at long-term care facilities, providing inadequate care to residents including care that resulted in pain and inadequate medical documentation. The Former Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on their practice, including: a) If recertified, an immediate suspension of their nursing registration for 6 months; and b) If recertified, a condition requiring remedial education in hand and foot care nursing and ethics prior to resuming nursing care.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
