On November 16, 2021, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Kimberly Redlack of Smithers, B.C., to address practice issues that occurred during December 23, 2019 and July 14, 2020, related to leaving her colleagues during a Code White, failing to demonstrate adequate clinical skills in managing a resident's diabetes and hypoglycemic event, and not meeting BCCNM's Documentation and Medication practice standards.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and/or condition on their practice, including:

  1. Remedial education in Medication Administration, Communications, Diabetes, and Ethics;
  2. Direct/indirect supervision of their nursing practice for 6 months;

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
