On November 27, 2021, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Arseniy Tripunov of Surrey, to address practice issues that occurred in June and July 2020, related to breaching patient privacy by accessing the medical records of a patient with whom he had no professional relationship and performing a physical assessment on that patient.
The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and/or condition on their practice, including:
- A suspension of their nursing registration for 3 days;
- A public reprimand;
- An undertaking not to repeat the conduct.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
