Pinkerton, Jeffrey, LPN

Consent agreement

Jan 6, 2022

On January 6, 2022, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Jeffrey Pinkerton of Chilliwack, to address practice and conduct issues that occurred between July 2017 and May 2018 related to his off-duty assault of a female causing bodily harm, providing inconsistent and false explanations to his employer for not reporting to work, and reporting to work on one occasion while impaired by pain medication.

Mr. Pinkerton has agreed to the cancellation of his nursing registration and to a prohibition on reapplication for a period of five years. Should he reapply for practicing registration at the end of the five-year term, he will have to satisfy the requirements of competence, fitness, and good character assessment by the Registration Committee.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
