On August 30, 2022 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Former Registrant Adrian Mulholland of Duncan, to address practice issues that occurred in February of 2021 related to failing to assess a resident following a safety incident and ensure the incident was reported according to agency policy. The Former Registrant also breached an Interim Undertaking on one occasion, and a previous Consent Agreement on two occasions.
Should the Former Registrant seek reinstatement in the future, this matter would be considered by the Registration Committee to ensure the registration requirements of competence, character, and fitness to practice are met. Should the Former Registrant successfully meet the requirements for reinstatement, they agree to the following terms:
A suspension of their nursing registration for two weeks;
A reprimand for their conduct; and
A condition requiring successful completion of remedial education related to documentation and critical incident reporting prior to commencing nursing practice.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
