On October 20, 2022, a panel oft he Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Amy Thesen (nee Suerink) of Kamloops, to address practice issues that occurred in December 2021 related her failure to follow established policies and procedures and her failure to respond appropriately to an unresponsive resident.
The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and/or condition on their practice, including:
- A public reprimand
- Remedial education in critical thinking
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
