On May 2, 2023, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Mahsa Rahimi of Coquitlam to address practice issues that occurred between December 2021 and February 2022 related to breaches of confidentiality by accessing the private medical records of a family member for improper purposes.
The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and/or condition on her practice, including:
A suspension of her nursing registration for two weeks
Remedial education
A public reprimand
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
