Fees
  • Renewal fees are set on an annual basis by the BCCNM Board. Fees are available on the RPN fees page.

  • Did you know that you can pay for the upcoming year's renewal fees monthly over the course of the year, rather than paying a lump sum in January/February? Learn more about the pre-authorized payment (PAP) program.

Changing your status during renewal

If you are planning to change your status during the renewal period, you may have different options available to you depending on when you want your new status to take effect. Learn more about changing your status during renewal.

What happens if you don't renew on time
  • If you do not renew by the deadline, your registration will expire. You must not practise as an RPN  unless you are hold practising registration.

  • To regain your registration, you will need to apply to reinstate your registration ($265+GST) in addition to paying your registration fees.

Unregistered practice: If you practise without practising registration, even accidentally, you are participating in unregistered practise and will be subject to an additional $375+GST surcharge to reinstate your registration. Learn more about the risks of unregistered practice.
